  • Q: What's the history of Would you rather…?
    • A: The original concept for Would you rather…? came to us while we were undergraduates at Duke University. After graduating in 1995 with no meaningful skills to speak of (unfortunately, Heimberg's expertise in 'functional performance art' and Gomberg's mastery of 'blacksmithing' just weren't going to cut it in the real world), we sought refuge at Gomberg's family beach house in Long Island, NY. We slept during the day and stayed up all night, coming up with Would you rather…? dilemmas. After securing a literary agent, seeds of the Would you rather…? empire were planted. Soon after, we had inked a deal with Penguin and our trip to the promised land had begun. And no, drugs and/or alcohol were not involved at any step along the way.

  • Q: What is Falls Media LLC?
    • A: Falls Media specializes in gift, humor, and game books, often imbued with a hip or irreverent edge. While Falls Media products are for anyone who likes to laugh a lot with little effort, many titles are aimed at the burgeoning Gen X, Gen Y, and college markets. Falls Media's founders (a comedy writer and philosophy major) love nothing more than sitting around with a bunch of friends laughing and coming up with ideas, and its products aim to facilitate this experience for others. The company grew out of the success of the founders' Would You Rather…? series, which has sold over 200,000 copies.
